Episode #182 – Put the Nail In

The boys are back, after a three week hiatus, with a truly fun and special episode. Tony talks about the sudden passing of his Mom, and although it is really sad, you just know Gary can’t help but bring some humor to the conversation….much to Tony’s relief!

Plus: Cool music, a BIG announcement, and….”Rob really brings his wisdom to the show”. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry. And be sure to listen ALL THE WAY to the end.

Encore Presentation: Is He Right in the Head?!

Our next new release will be May 29th…Until then, please enjoy one of our favorite episodes from July of 2015!

The laughs are nearly non-stop in one of our funniest episodes ever! Among the MANY topics covered: Rob Ford describes his VERY bad day; Which of your five senses would you be willing to give up?; Haley Joel Osment; “Forrest Gump”; the NIGHTMARE of the P.E. Locker Room Showers; “Searching for Sugarman”; and Gary’s date with Shirley MacLaine’s daughter! RoFo fans, you’re going to LOVE this one!

Encore Presentation: Fleshy Inner Cheeks!

Hey, friends. TTPSFGS will be on hiatus for two more weeks. Our next new show will be out on Tuesday, May 29th. In the meantime, here’s another one of our favorites, this time from November 2016. Enjoy!

In one of the most ADD episodes of TTPSFGS ever (and THAT’S saying something!), the guys roll non-stop from one crazy topic to another, barely pausing to gasp for air. Among the subjects covered: Gary is nearly poisoned, and the guys actually get the person who nearly poisoned him on the phone! Also, Tony’s mouth troubles; Gary’s collection of weird, but very funny, actual names of people; Tony presents music composed by….well….you’ll have to listen; and surprising music from The Manhattans.

Plus, Rob Ford poops all over one of Tony’s segments. Will Rob survive to produce again? Listen and find out!

By the way, the alternate title for this episode is “America: The Bi-Curious Sophomore”. Enjoy!

Encore Presentation: Paul Provenza, Comedian

The guys are taking a quick break this week and bring you one of our favorites from July 2015!

In this encore, Tony and Gary talk comedy with stand-up great Paul Provenza, host of TV’s “The Green Room” and “The Set List”, and the director of the great comedy film “The Aristocrats”. Paul gives us great, hilarious inside takes on all of those projects, and the guys get downright serious about the business of making people laugh. Plus, live stand-up from one of the guys’ favorite comedians, the late, great, Mitch Hedberg. AND…..WHEN does water expire???

Episode #180 – Scat and Rap are First Cousins

This weeks’ show features lots of laughs and some pretty quirky and interesting music!

First, Tony plays what he thinks is the earliest ever rap record, and it’s from the 50s! BUT do Gary and Rob prove him wrong?!

Then: Gary pays tribute to a dearly departed friend, as only he can; Septic system shenanigans; and a new feature, “Sounds Like The Beatles”! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll tap your toes. Enjoy!

Episode #179 – Jackie Jokes!

Master joke teller JACKIE MARTLING returns to the show, so you know this episode will bring LOTS of laughs! And 95% of the jokes are brand new!

Plus: “Toilet Habits”, and “Are These Really Words?” This one’s a laugh-a-minute!

NOTE: You can pick up Jackie’s NEW book, “Jackie Jokes”, AND his autobiography, “From Bow to Stern”, at Amazon.com. Use the shopping cart button at the top of the TonyPerkinsShow.com page!

Episode #178 – In The News with Don Dahler

CBS News correspondent Don Dahler joins the guys for a fascinating conversation about his life as a network TV reporter and anchor. Don can be seen every week on both “CBS This Morning” and “The CBS Evening News”. Tony and Gary got to know him when he was with ABC’s “Good Morning America”. It was there that Don became one of the first to report on the unfolding tragedy in Lower Manhattan on 9/11; he lived four blocks from the World Trade Center, and he witnessed–and reported on–it all. His recollections on what unfolded that day are riveting and insightful.

Also: Tony and Gary go to a “Race Bar”; Gary’s trip to D.C.; and a new edition of “In the News”!

Note: Pick up Don Dahler’s new novel, Do A Little Wrong, on Amazon.com. Follow him on Twitter at @DonDahlerCBS.

Episode #177 – I Like Pink!

This episode begins with a hilarious, no-holds-barred surprise visit from Oscar Santana from “The Mike O’Meara Show”, and boy does the conversation get juicy! It’s funny AND honest!

Plus: Gary takes issue with the reboot of TV’s “Roseanne”; Tony loves HBO’s “The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling”; new music from Pink; and really cool musical curiosities from Marvin Gaye, Ratt, The Beatnix, and John Paul Young. It’s ANOTHER chock-full show!

Episode #176 – Parr for the Course!

Tony and Gary welcome morning radio host RUSS PARR to the show! Russ can be heard weekday mornings on MAJIC 102.3/92.7 in Washington D.C., and on many other stations nationwide. Not only is Russ funny, he’s also a movie producer and director–and he just may have a role for Gary!

Also: Tony pits Russ and Gary against each other in a game of movie trivia; “Breaking News”; and Gary encounters a sweaty situation!
